When I first tried it, I had no idea it would be that pigmented despite reading blog reviews that warned about its intense pigmentation! I used a finger only to do swatches for photos.įor the cheeks, I swipe the 168 across the product, tap off the excess and apply with a light hand. But that doesn’t happen when I use a MAC 168.
MIANA BLUSH LUMINSON SKIN
When I swipe it with a finger, it goes onto the skin just a tad chalky. Personally, I like a bit of shimmer in my blush. The tiny bits of shimmer do so much as give a warm, healthy glow, and not make you look like a glitterbomb. There isn’t as much shimmer in Luminoso as there is glitter in the Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach Blush, so people who dislike blushes with too much glitter will find Luminoso more appealing. Milani Luminoso is a slightly shimmery peach blush, with a tinge of pink. I’m really into peaches and corals for blushes and lipsticks now.
MIANA BLUSH LUMINSON FOR MAC
I do still reach for MAC Pink Swoon on occasions, but they’re quite rare now. I’ve moved away from true pink blushes quite some time ago. Sorry, just had to interrupt with the random thought. Left: Milani Baked Blush Luminoso Right: Nars Blush OrgasmĪlso, NARS has slightly more shimmer and the texture is not as smooth as Luminoso. Orgasm is predominantly pink with tinge of peach, while Luminoso is mainly peach with some sweet pink. While Luminoso has been named by many as a great drugstore dupe for NARS Orgasm, I don’t think it reminds me of Orgasm that much. I don’t know about you, but to me, a ‘dupe’ should be 90% similar to the object of comparison. Is Milani Luminoso A Dupe For Nars Orgasm? And a gorgeous light it brings to the face, it does!
MIANA BLUSH LUMINSON UPGRADE
Milani, if any of your representatives is reading it I would highly recommend to please upgrade your packaging because, for us girls packaging plays a huge role in picking up any makeup product. If “Lumos!” is what the wizarding world chants to emit a warm glow from their wands, then “Luminoso” must be what we need to conjure a picture of perfect glowing cheeks in our muggle world.Įvery time I use Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso, I think of Lumos, a latin word meaning ‘light’.

I see myself using it a lot now, even though I am quite disappointed at the packaging. Got it at a great deal from but was a little reluctant to try it as I found it a little too peach and orangey in the pan for my skin tone but on my cheeks oh my God, I absolutely loved how it added an instant pop of color along with a healthy vibrant glow to my dead cheeks early in the morning. I love Nikkie and she is the sole reason why I even thought of buying it. Nikkie from Nikkietutorials gets all the credit for making me buy this blush. What I don’t like about MILANI BAKED BLUSH LUMINOSO?
